Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 12-month warranty on all workmanship, including CNC cutting, cabinetry manufacturing, and installation services. This warranty covers any defects in the quality of work performed by our team, ensuring that all components are cut, assembled, and finished to the highest standards.

• What’s Covered:
• Faults in assembly, installation, or cutting that result from our workmanship.
• Issues related to the functionality of cabinets, drawers, and other components we have assembled or installed.
• What’s Not Covered:
• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by improper use, handling, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
• Issues resulting from modifications made by third parties after installation.

Material Warranty

The materials we use for your project, such as wood, MDF, stone, and hardware, are sourced from reputable suppliers. As such, material warranties are provided by the original manufacturers and suppliers. SMART CABINETS does not assume liability for material defects, but we will assist in facilitating any claims with the material suppliers on your behalf.

• Owner’s Risk:
• Any materials supplied by the client or third parties, or materials selected based on specific client preferences, are processed and cut at the owner’s risk. We do not provide warranty coverage for defects, faults, or issues arising from the supplied materials.
• Once materials are cut or processed according to your specifications, we cannot be held responsible for any inconsistencies or issues arising from the properties of the material itself.

Exclusions:

• Misuse, abuse, or failure to maintain the product properly.
• Water or moisture damage, especially if the cabinetry is installed in high-moisture environments without adequate protection.
• Movement or settlement of buildings, which may affect the fitting and function of the installed cabinetry or components.

In the event of a claim under our workmanship warranty, we will assess the issue and either repair or replace the defective components at no additional charge, within the warranty period.

Note: Any claims must be reported within the 12-month warranty period and include proof of purchase and photos or descriptions of the defect.

This warranty covers your liability in terms of workmanship while clarifying that material defects are covered by the suppliers. It also clearly defines the limits of your responsibility when it comes to materials supplied or chosen by the client.
